Support
Toque is a phone app that remote-controls Claude Code sessions on machines you own. It pairs with the free, open-source Toque server (MIT licensed) that you install on your own hardware. There are no accounts and no cloud in the middle: the app talks only to the servers you add by URL. The Android app is on Google Play; the iOS app is in App Store review.

Common Questions
How do I connect a server?
Run the one-line installer from the Install section on the machine you want to control. Make the server reachable from your phone over Tailscale HTTPS (the installer offers to set this up) or a Cloudflare Tunnel. Then open the app, go to Connect and paste the server's URL. An API key is optional; add it if you configured one on the server.
Do I need an account?
No. Toque has no accounts and no sign-in. The app stores the servers you add on your phone and talks to them directly.
Why don't I get push notifications when the app is closed?
While the app is open it polls your server, so approvals and questions show up without any setup. To reach your phone while the app is closed, your server needs a push route: either its own Firebase project or the hosted relay described on the Pro page. This is configured on the server, not in the app.
What is "Try the demo"?
It adds a sample fleet on your phone so you can look around the app before installing a server. Nothing connects to a real machine. Remove it in Config whenever you like.
How do I remove a server?
Open the Config tab, tap the server's card and choose remove. The server stops being contacted by the app, and its push token registration ends.
How do updates arrive?
The app's web layer updates itself over the air when you open it. Changes to the native app come through Google Play and the App Store as normal updates.
Does the iPhone app match Android?
Yes, both apps have the same features. On iOS the app is built for iPhone only.
What data does Toque collect?
The app sends one push token to the server you add, which is your own machine. Nothing is sent to us. The full details are in the privacy policy.
Report a Problem
Email us or open an issue with as much of this as you can. It usually saves a round trip.
- App version: in the app, Config → About
- Server version: open
/api/healthon your server's URL - The machine running the server and its operating system (for example a Raspberry Pi on Raspberry Pi OS, or a Mac on macOS)
- What you tapped and what happened, and what you expected instead. A screenshot helps.
Billing
The Toque app has no purchases. The only paid thing is Toque Pro, the hosted push relay, which is sold on this website. Polar is the merchant of record, so receipts, invoices and refunds come from Polar, and you can cancel from the customer portal linked in your receipt. For anything else billing-related, email tristan@arthas.dev.
